善举Acts of kindness

People who consistently volunteer or simply care for others are found to be happier. Kindness is really quite contagious.

经常做志愿者或者关心别人的人会更加幸福。善举是可以感染他人的。

You don`t need to volunteer in an organization. It can be as simple as reaching out to be a coworker or friend who needs a helping hand.

你不一定要在某个机构或者组织做志愿者。你可以简单地向一个需要帮助的同事或者朋友伸出援助之手。

锻炼与身体健康 Exercise and physical well-being

Many studies are proving the ancient adage, “sound body, sound mind” to be true.

很多的研究都验证了这样的一句话:“身体好,心态好”

Regular exercise can improve mental well-being and help combat depression.

经常锻炼可以增进心理健康,帮助抵抗抑郁。

找到你的“流” Find your flow

If we are deeply involved in an activity that`s challenging but well-suited to our skills, we experience a joyful state called “flow”.

当我们沉浸在一个富有挑战性但是却符合个人能力的活动中,我们会经历一种非常愉悦的状态,叫做“流”。

Many kinds of activities , such as sports and learning can produce the experience of flow where you are so deeply immersed in the experience that you forget about everything else.

很多活动,比如运动和学习,都能带给我们这样愉悦的体验。当你深深地沉浸在其中,你就会忘记周围的一切。

优点和美德 Strengths and virtues

Studies in the field of positive psycholgy show that the happiest people are those that have discovered their unique strengths and virtues and use them for a purpose that`s greater than their own personal goals.

积极心理学的领域有研究表明,最幸福的人往往是那些能发现自己身上独特优点和美德的人,并且把这些用在实现比个人目标更大、更广的事情上。

积极思维 Positive mindset

Optimism, mindfulness and gratitude. Of all these areas, gratitude has perhaps received the most attention in positive psychology.

乐观、留心、感恩。在所有这些当中,感恩在积极心理学中获得的关注最多。

Grateful people have been shown to have greater positive emotion, greater sense of belonging, and lower incidence of depression and stress.

感恩的人有更多积极情绪,更强烈的归属感,经历抑郁和压力的可能性也更小。
